Susitna Kennels
One of my passions is breeding, raising and showing Shetland Sheepdogs. Several years ago I established my kennel and have been enjoying my four-legged family members since then.

"Walker" is a 3-year-old blue merle collie from the Linda Ward, Sinkona Kennels in Spokane, Washington. In August 2005 he earned his championship title.

"Rose" is the foundation of Susitna Shelties. She is ranked 19th nationally among Shetland Sheepdogs. She has several up and coming offspring pictured below. Rose is now being specialed throughout Anchorage and the Pacific Northwest and hopes to do well in this year's Eukanuba Classic in Long Beach, CA.

Watch for these Susitna shelties in the show ring in the future. Pictured at 6 months are the offspring of Rose and Daval Going My Way. From Left: Dixie Bolgiano with Susitna Steele Magnolia "Missie," Shelley Wood with Susitna Magnolia Mae "Maggie," Margaret Nelson with Susitna Commander in Chief "Reagan" and Suzie Schmidt with Susitna Sharp Dressed Man "ZZ." Missie was named Best Puppy at the Herding Group show in Chugiak in July. Reagan, at nine months, received his first points taking Winners Dog at the Cook Inlet Kennel Club in Palmer.

"James" (Ch Jade Mist Memorandum x Ch Barwoods Above 'N Beyond) is currently standing at stud at Susitna Shelties. He is from the well known Jade Mist Shetland Sheepdog kennel in Davidsonville, MD. James is proven with Normal Eyes and OFA good. Inquiries welcome.
